The One who knows no failure

We were re-reading some of the quotes and Bible verses we went through while studying at ARISE concerning what is success, and came across these powerful quotes and Bible verses on the topic:

"But when we give ourselves wholly to God and in our work follow His directions, He makes Himself responsible for its accomplishment. He would not have us conjecture as to the success of our honest endeavors. Not once should we even think of failure. We are to cooperate with One who knows no failure." ~ Christ's Object Lessons, page 363

And:

"Successful work for Christ depends not so much on numbers or talent as upon pureness of purpose..." ~Desire of Ages, page 370

And another:

"In the excitment which then pervaded Capernaum, there was a danger that the object of His mission would be lost sight of. Jesus was not satisfied to attract attention to Himself merely as a wonder worker or a healer of physical diseases. He was seeking to draw men to Him as their saviour. While people were eager to believe that He had come as a king, to establish an earthly reign, He desired to turn their minds away from the earthly to the spiritual. Mere worldly success would interfere with His work." ~Desire of Ages, page 260

Also:

"Where there are no oxen, the manger is clean. but abundant crops come by the strength of the ox." ~Proverbs 14:4

Lastly:

"For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of the power and love and self-control." ~1 Timothy 1:7

These quotes speak volumes to us at the moment! We pray that they bless you as well.
