From December 28, 2012 – January 1, 2013, thousands of young people will gather in Seattle, Washington for the annual GYC conference. For 5 days we’ll fellowship and grow together as we examine the nature of the revolution in the book of Acts that turned the world up-side-down.

Pilgrim - Live @ Psalter Studios
A new video of us at the Psalter Studios recording for Hope Channel has just been released. The video features a live recording of our title track, Pilgrim, from our debut album released late 2010. We also talk a little about our songwriting process and how the Bible and its themes influences that process. Pilgrim was inspired by Matthew 11:28-30:
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."
The first verse creates the scene that could be anyone of us. A person in despair from all the burdens of life, the labours that we go through in our own minds. Yet there is hope. The Saviour God who calls us children, gives us an offer of a rest of the mind and of the soul. An offer of going through life with Him. A change from labouring for what perishes to labouring for what is everlasting. A change that is described as coming hand in hand with peace that surpasses understanding.
Hope the song is a blessing!
