Aotearoa. Such a beautiful country full of mountains, volcanoes, black sand, stunning seascapes, and rolling fields. Our first music ministry tour of New Zealand did not disappoint.
Bursting Thanks. Utter Peace. Pure Exhaustion. Talked Out. Totally Amazed.
Just a few of the emotions that swept through us as we ended our most packed music ministry tour to date. 12 music ministry events in 2 1/2 weeks. 11 of those in just 9 days! Yet, this tour wasn't even thought of three short months ago.
5am wake ups on tour are more normal than we wish.
New Zealand. It's just across the ditch. It was something we had dreamed of, but couldn't see it happening. But after a surprise email, an invitation and a lot of prayer we began to plan for this tour just two months out. This is relatively close to plan a tour in another country... at least we have never done it this close before. Yet, we believed that God had opened the doors for this tour and that He would provide. And He did. We thought, "It would be great if we were to get at least 6 music events... maybe 8, but even that's a dream because it was so late." But we prayed and God provided 12!
Here are just a few moments from the New Zealand tour:

We have been so amazed by the hospitality, support and encouragement shown to us on this tour. We loved every host, church, school, café and home. We loved hearing the multiple testimonies of God's presence and interaction in the lives of those who came to our concerts, and seeing God move on people's hearts during a song, a story or while speaking about the gospel.
Thank you New Zealanders for a tour to remember! We pray we will be back soon!
