Having our music used for the church's global mission was one of our top goals when we set out to be Musicianaries all those years ago. This morning we woke up to this incredibly inspiring video for mission using one of our newest songs, "You Are with Me." We are thrilled to be involved in this small way at the LEAD 21 Conference at the GC Annual Council. Thank you for reaching out Adventist Mission and for all of the great work you do for the church. Eric and Monique Johnson used to tour full-time around the world. Now they are at home in Australia, pastoring and raising their two young children—but they haven't stopped singing.

Eric to Serve in the Victorian Conference as a Ministerial Intern

2021 UPDATE! — Since accepting a call in September to serve in the Victorian Conference as a Ministerial Intern (see previous post below) we have been waiting patiently to find out where we’re going. This week received word on the location.

BALLARAT! Eric has been appointed as an assistant minister to Pr Andrew Kapusi for Ballarat and Maryborough Seventh-day Adventist churches.

2020 has been for many of us an overwhelming experience of feeling like you’re waiting in a terminal (shoutout Tom Hanks) and now to have clarity on the roadmap of 2021 is a huge relief, and we are eagerly anticipating a great year and are excited to engage, integrate and minister in the Ballarat and Maryborough communities.

So what about Music? Music for us will very much remain an essential and core part of our overall ministry. For us, music has always been a vehicle, and ministry has always been the driving motivator, the why! For us, music has been predominantly about touring from place to place around Australia and the world. From 2021 music for us will be much less focused on the touring aspect and much more focused on the songwriting, album making and online content creation like what we do on Patreon and more. We have a new vision for it in 2021 and how it sits along with this new role, and beyond that, we can share more about in the future.
