#SOA13 Highlights So Far...

Our God is an awesome God! He is doing some incredible things on the Songs of Ascent 2013 tour so far. We're praising Him for the encouraging testimonies of people who have come out to experience the message through Word and song. There has been non-Christians and non-Adventists attending. There has been people who have driven incredible distances, like the story of a non-adventist father who drove his daughter 5 1/2 hours and back again the same night. There has been stories like the story of a kid in grade 3 who used his entire Christmas money to get Christian music when he could have bought other toys instead. We can't wait to see how The Lord will bless next! Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

The Best Zoo In The World

So of course saying that Omaha Zoo is the best zoo in the world is my personal opinion as I have not been to every zoo in the world. But seriously it is the Best Zoo Ever! Due to time restrictions, (aka we all wanted to have a lazy morning) we were only able to see a few of the sections. But even so I need to issue a warning... get ready for some cuteness!The jungle enclosure. Spot the monkey! These guys were hilarious! There were two little babies who were seriously mischievous! This little guy was so curious! He slowly came all the way up to the glass and stuck his head out right to the lens of my camera, all the meanwhile his friend was doing somersaults in the corner! PENGUINS!!! Love! Jelly fish a remarkably beautiful creatures.Spot the fish! There are two in there.Indoor Desert.Meercats! They have the cutest little expressions and are hilarious!We got a little tired...But ended off the evening playing Wallyball with Matt & Josie's wonderful friends who have graciously opened up their home for us to stay for a week while we are in Iowa. They are such wonderful people!

Berrien Springs House Concert

We are really looking forward to the house concert next Friday! For two reasons. Firstly, it's a house concert! We love house concerts! Secondly, we get to do this house concert with both Matt & Josie Minikus and Alison Brook! These are both very special musicianary friends of ours from Songs of Ascent. We get to go on smaller Songs of Ascent tour with Matt and Josie over the next two months, but we are especially excited to do something with Alison while in the Berrien Springs area. This is where you come in. Because this concert was a last minute decision, it will rely heavily on word of mouth, and social media for advertising. We are happy to have this little Songs of Ascent reunion by ourselves, but it would be much more special if we could share it with others.
